The FruitGuys Community Fund 2024 grant cycle is underway for grant awards of up to $5,000 to small farms and agricultural nonprofits for projects that promote economic and environmental sustainability for their farms, programs, and communities.
In 2023, The FruitGuys Community Fund awarded 18 small farms and agricultural nonprofits from 15 different states a total of $83,757 to implement sustainability projects spanning focus areas such as water conservation, energy efficiency, biodiversity, pollination, seed preservation, and ecological land management. The majority of funds were directed to farms owned or led by Black, Indigenous, People Of Color, and women, in an effort to provide critical support to under-represented farmers.
